How Much Product Should I Use?

When it comes to skincare, using the right amount of product is just as important as choosing the right one. Applying too much can overwhelm your skin and waste product—while using too little may not deliver the results you’re looking for.
Here’s a clear guide to help you apply just the right amount—for both your face and body.

Face Skincare: How Much to Use

Cleanser
How much:
A blueberry-sized amount (about a 10 cent coin)
This is enough to cleanse the entire face without stripping your skin.

Toner
How much: A few drops on a cotton pad or in your hands
Just enough to lightly coat the face—no need to soak.

Serum
How much:
2–3 drops or a pea-sized amount
Serums are potent; press gently into skin for best absorption.

Moisturiser
How much:
A blueberry-sized amount or 2 pumps
Apply evenly to your face and neck for proper hydration

Eye Cream
How much:
A grain of rice per eye
Tap gently with your ring finger—no rubbing!

Sunscreen
How much:
2 full finger lengths (around ½ teaspoon) for face and neck
Essential daily, even when it’s cloudy or you’re indoors.

Body Skincare: How Much to Use

Body Moisturiser
How much:
About 2–3 tablespoons for the full body
Apply more if your skin is particularly dry or after showering.

Body Sunscreen
How much:
A shot glass full
Use this amount to cover the entire body. Reapply every 2 hours when exposed to the sun.

Body Scrub
How much:
A palmful per major area (legs, arms, etc.)
Use 1–2 times per week—no need to overdo it.

Body Serum or Treatment Products
How much:
Enough to cover targeted areas (e.g., upper arms or thighs), usually 2–3 pumps
Apply to clean, dry skin before moisturiser.

Skincare isn’t about using more—it’s about using what your skin actually needs. Whether you're caring for your face or your full body, sticking to recommended amounts helps you get the best results without waste.
